Platinum Refresh^® was designed for those horses that are not able to sweat enough during hot weather, competition or athletic training to maintain a healthy body temperature. This formula supports a horse's ability to sweat by maintaining a healthy nervous system and supporting blood flow to the sweat glands.

An electrolyte and trace mineral supplement designed to support healthy hydration by replenishing body concentrations of salt and electrolyte minerals lost in sweat during heavy exercise or hot weather. In addition to encouraging water consumption, this formula helps to maintain a proper electrolyte balance. If your horse has difficulty sweating, Platinum Refresh^® is the formula we would recommend to support a horse’s ability to sweat.

Recommendation for Use

Administer 2 level tablespoons (32,800mg) once or twice daily, depending upon conditions or as recommended by your veterinarian. Servings based on average horse weight of 1000 lbs.
Recommended for use within 18 months of manufacture date.

Horses with trigeminal-mediated headshaking experience occasional discomfort, leading to poor quality of life in some cases. Platinum Steady™ has been shown to support horses that display headshaking behavior, when compared with a diet consisting of hay only. Platinum Steady™ should be used in conjunction with one of these three formulas for best results: Platinum Performance® Equine, Platinum Performance® CJ, or Platinum Performance® GI.

Platinum Skin & Allergy is a potent formula that may be helpful in horses with seasonal allergies. Allergies can appear both in the skin as well as the respiratory airways in horses generally from exposure to allergens like mold, spores and insect bites. Platinum Skin & Allergy formula works by helping to maintain a healthy immune system and providing ingredients like quercetin, a naturally-occurring antioxidant, to maintain healthy histamine levels.

Platinum Skin & Allergy works best when given in combination with one of our foundation formulas such as Platinum Performance^® Equine. For picky eaters, sprinkle less than the full dose during meal time, gradually allowing your horse to get used to the smell and taste. It might also be helpful to mix a small amount of water so the supplement sticks to your horse’s feed better and doesn’t sift to the bottom of the ration. If your horse doesn’t eat it right away, don’t be discouraged— it may take a few days for your horse to become comfortable with the change.
