Digestion

Prebiotics nourish the “good” bacteria in the gut and support the digestion of fiber, while probiotics are important for absorption of nutrients and feed efficiency. Probiotics are also supportive for horses that tend to have loose stool.

An estimated 70-80% of the entire immune system resides in the gut. Nourishing beneficial bacteria can help support a healthy gut barrier and microflora balance.

Platinum Gastric Support^® helps maintain a healthy mucosal barrier, healthy gastric acid levels in the stomach, and normal healthy levels of mucosal inflammation. This formula also provides Saccharomyces c. boulardii 1079, a daily probiotic for advanced digestive support and is recommended for performance horses, foals experiencing stress from weaning, and any horse prone to gastric health issues.

Silicon is an important element to maintain healthy bones, tendons and ligaments in the horse. Osteon^® contains a highly bio-available natural form of silicon called zeolite to support strong and healthy bones. Osteon is also recommended when equine cartilage or tendon support is needed.

Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, Healthy Weight supports skin, coat, gastric and muscle health. For horses that need to gain weight, Healthy Weight provides calories in addition to forage. It is made from flax oil, a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, which makes it a healthy alternative to corn oil. Healthy Weight is a great way to provide dense calories in the form of omega-three fatty acids in a small serving for horses that need to gain weight. For best results, combine with one of Platinum’s wellness formulas - Platinum Performance® Equine, Platinum Performance® GI or Platinum Performance® CJ — to support comprehensive health from head to hoof.

Recommendation for Use

Healthy Weight provides a concentrated source of omega-3 fatty acids supportive in many ways including weight gain and skin, coat, gastric and muscle health. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Replace lid after each use.

Feeding Directions for 5 Gallon Container: Feed 2oz (approximately 60 mL or 1/4 cup) once or twice daily. Can be used as a top dressing on Platinum Performance^® Equine or other feeds. Serving based on average horse weight of 1000 lbs.
For 5 gallon pump, 2 Pumps = 60 mL (1/4 cup).
Recommended for use within 6 months of manufacture date.

Feeding Directions for 1 Gallon Tip to Measure Container:

The 1-gallon Healthy Weight now comes in an easy tip-to-measure container. There's no longer a need for a measuring cup to administer this omega-3 rich formula to support a horse's weight, skin, coat, gastric, and muscle health.
The recommended dose has not changed — 2oz once or twice daily.

	1. Tip the container until liquid fills the triangular chamber at the top of the bottle.
	2. Tip the bottle back to remove overfill until desired dose is achieved using slanted measuring marks.
	3. Set the bottle in an upright position, open the cap and pour to top dress on feed or supplements.

Designed with the equine athlete in mind, Myo-Vet^® supports muscle development and function. This potent formula supports lean muscle mass and helps to maintain minimal post-exercise muscle breakdown, which may be helpful in supporting athletic performance, recovery, and improved muscle strength.

Recommendation for Use

Administer 1 level tablespoon (8,500mg) twice daily.Serving based on average horse weight of 1000 lbs.
Recommended for use within 18 months of manufacture date.

An electrolyte and trace mineral supplement designed to support healthy hydration by replenishing body concentrations of salt and electrolyte minerals lost in sweat during heavy exercise or hot weather. In addition to encouraging water consumption, this formula helps to maintain a proper electrolyte balance. If your horse has difficulty sweating, Platinum Refresh^® is the formula we would recommend to support a horse’s ability to sweat.

Recommendation for Use

Administer 2 level tablespoons (32,800mg) once or twice daily, depending upon conditions or as recommended by your veterinarian. Servings based on average horse weight of 1000 lbs.
