This 2008 PRCA Rookie of the Year is a true all-around cowboy who started his career winning the Rookie title as a heeler in the team roping and then switched ends to qualify for the WNFR in the heading and the tie-down roping. Rhen has been rodeoing with the top 20 cowboys for close to 15 years now and to say he has worked hard to get to where he’s at would be an understatement. Rhen explains, “In 2008, my rookie year, I nearly qualified for the NFR. The next year, I finished in the top twenty. I finished on the bubble again and again and again. I rodeoed for more than ten years before I finally made it to Vegas.” Now that he has found his place in the top 15, he seems to fit in quite well with over $260,000 in earnings at the WNFR over the past 4 qualifications. We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for Rhen and his two horses, Midnight and Beets.
