Jake’s first NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Championship came in 2015 aboard Holy Cow Performance Horse’s Starlight and Kisses. With strong runs in the herd work and reining, it was truly anyone’s game going into the cow work, and Jake Telford and Starlight Kisses made their way to the winner’s circle after a strong fence work. “The fence work is probably the easiest for me. I kind of pride myself on having good fence horses. I want to have that confidence that, if I need to mark up, then I can step up and call on my horse and do it,” Telford said.
