Platinum Performance® Equine was created out of clinical necessity as a comprehensive omega-3 formula to transform equine health at the cellular level. Because of its comprehensive nature, the ingredients work synergistically to support every aspect of health and performance, including joints, muscles, hooves, skin and coat, digestion and more.
Recommended daily dosage for a 1,000 lb horse is 2 scoops, which is 2 servings.
Vitamin E works as an antioxidant, helping to support cell activity and protects cell membranes from free radicals. It is often used to help performance horses that experience temporary muscle soreness.
Selenium Yeast is a more bio-available form of selenium (1 g of selenium yeast contains 2 mg of elemental selenium), an essential trace mineral and antioxidant. Selenium activates the antioxidant enzyme Glutathione Peroxidase and provides the body with nerve, muscle and joint support. Selenium is also essential for enhancing the antioxidant effects of vitamin E.

Both inorganic and organic selenium yeast can be used to supplement selenium in the diet. However the bioavailability of organic selenium appears to be higher than inorganic forms of selenium.
Platinum Performance® client since 2010
“I started using Platinum Performance after Sophie, my 10-year-old Paint mare, came up lame. After months of x-rays and ultrasounds and no answers, my vet suggested we do a trace mineral blood test and a hay analysis. The results showed she was critically low in selenium. Within a matter of months, she was finally starting to feel good again. Sophie is a whole other horse now. I’ve showed her in reining and now we’re doing jumping and cutting. There’s nothing she can’t do. She feels great, and it shows.”

“I use Platinum Performance Equine to ensure my show horses are in optimum condition. In west Texas, the soil is sandy and causes a lack of nutrients within our forage. With Platinum Performance, my horses will receive the minerals to perform at their best. I’ve seen improvement in their body and coat condition, as well as their recovery time between shows.”
