Some horses require enteral feeding to enhance the immune system, promote wound healing and to prevent catabolism of muscle and connective tissue. The Enteral Immunonutrition Formula provides the equine practitioner with an economical, safe and easy to use source of complete enteral nutrition that can be administered by stomach tube. The Enteral Formula can prevent the need for total parenteral nutrition (TPN) in many cases. It is superior to TPN in maintaining mucosal integrity in the neuroendocrine system, which controls nutrient digestion, absorption and metabolism.
